PROMISE Technology Unveils Advanced Storage Systems for Surveillance
At the upcoming Intersec Dubai 2026, PROMISE Technology plans to showcase cutting-edge storage solutions specifically tailored to meet the rigorous demands of AI-powered Intelligent Video Analytics (IVA) surveillance systems. With the rising adoption of AI cameras, the influx of metadata, coupled with high video stream traffic, significantly amplifies data volumes and operational demands, making efficient storage systems crucial.
The Changing Landscape of Surveillance Technology
Over the past 35 years, PROMISE Technology has been at the forefront of designing storage solutions for video-centric applications, extending from surveillance to broadcasting and post-production. As surveillance technology advances, the transition from merely recording video to enabling real-time analytics necessitates storage systems that can act as high-performance processing engines rather than just archives.
Critical Performance Factors
The surge towards AI-centric surveillance architectures has heightened the performance requirements for storage systems. Historically, PROMISE has innovated storage architectures that minimize bottlenecks, ensuring reliable and predictable performance for essential video workloads, even before the widespread availability of advanced technologies like GPUs and NVMe storage.
PROMISE SmartBoost Technology
PROMISE's SmartBoost Technology is a game-changer, crafted to support seamless, uninterrupted video streaming without any frame drops. This capability is vital for maintaining high-quality surveillance and analytics, especially under extensive, high-density recording scenarios. The integration of this technology allows users to focus on their applications without concerning themselves with performance degradation.
Innovative Hardware Integrations
By combining their extensive experience with the latest advancements in hardware technology, including NVMe storage solutions, PCIe 5.0 connectivity, cutting-edge Intel processors, and superior GPUs, PROMISE aims to provide storage platforms that are not only optimized for IVA surveillance but also well-suited for AI training, inference, and enterprise data center applications.
