Titan's state-of-the-art demonstration facility will process natural flake graphite, offering both micronized and high-purity varieties sourced from the company's wholly owned Kilbourne deposit, which is conveniently adjacent to the Empire State Mines. This program aims to verify commercial-scale recoveries, fine-tune production processes, and create offtake samples to meet the needs of North American and allied clients in defense, energy, and industrial sectors.

This initiative comes amid China tightening previously announced restrictions on critical minerals, initially focused on rare earths and followed by controls on synthetic graphite and blended anode materials. These changes are expected to exacerbate global supply shortages for both synthetic and natural graphite. Support from U.S. Government and Future Plans
Titan is receiving crucial support from the U.S. Export-Import Bank, which has provided a Letter of Interest for financing up to $120 million through its Make More in America initiative. This funding will significantly assist Titan's development of their commercial graphite facility.
