Technip Energies Welcomes Benjamin Lechuga as Chief Strategy & Sustainability Officer
Technip Energies is thrilled to announce the appointment of Benjamin Lechuga as its new Chief Strategy & Sustainability Officer. In addition to this role, he will also join the Group Executive Committee, where he will be instrumental in managing the company’s Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), and Sustainability efforts.
Benjamin Lechuga: Rich Experience
Bringing more than 25 years of experience to Technip Energies, Benjamin Lechuga has an impressive background in sectors such as M&A, corporate management, and consulting. His extensive worldwide experience includes holding senior roles and, at times, board-level positions. Most recently, he played a key role at Deloitte's financial advisory division in Switzerland, concentrating on strategic development, performance improvement, and M&A advisory within the energy, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
Prior to Deloitte, where he worked from 2014 to 2024, Benjamin held significant management roles in Paris at Société Générale AM and 4D Global Energy Capital, a private equity fund focused on energy investments. He also played a part in strategic planning at Areva Renewables. His career began at Shell in the UK, specifically in the Gas and Power division, where he was involved in major LNG projects across various regions such as Africa, Asia, and the Americas.
