PHOENIX — SWCA Environmental Consultants (SWCA) has been awarded the responsibility of leading the environmental assessment and compliance processes as directed by the Utah Division of Outdoor Recreation (DOR) for the High Desert Trail project.

The remarkable High Desert Trail spans over 700 miles throughout western Utah, representing a collaborative effort that involves state agencies, local governments, and federal land managers, alongside trail user groups. In recent years, SWCA has successfully completed over 560 NEPA-related documents and managed more than 300 cultural resources projects throughout Utah.
