Built in 1925, this residence presented a design challenge; we aimed to honor its historical architecture while creating a modern, livable space that’s perfect for entertaining.

The Spanish Revival style is deeply rooted in history, marked by its intricate details. Our client, who hails from the South, had a preference for traditional looks that resonated beautifully with the home's original character. We embraced existing architectural features, such as stunning arches and ornate ceilings, allowing these elements to shape our choices in furnishings and overall design.
In the kitchen, we designed a striking counter-to-ceiling backsplash that mimics authentic hand-painted Spanish tiles. This choice pays homage to the home's past while enriching the atmosphere of the space. To elevate this aesthetic, we incorporated large mercury glass pendants and iron-framed arched mirrors—striking a balance between practicality and timeless elegance.
