Q1 2025 Missile Drill Program Overview
The primary focus of SAGA’s 2025 maiden drill program was to investigate the core of a notable magnetic anomaly found in the Hawkeye Zone. Initially set for 1,500 meters, the program was successfully scaled up to 2,200 meters due to promising early results. The findings confirmed the presence of a vast mineralized layered mafic intrusion. This discovery suggests that some portions may have retained their historical geological characteristics dating back over 1 billion years.
The Dykes River intrusion, a significant geological feature in the region, spans 160km2, similar in size to Greenland’s Skargaard intrusion. This vast area highlights the considerable potential for major mineral deposits that could include vanadium and titanium, both crucial for the green energy transition.

Key findings from the maiden drill program consist of:
- 130–200 meters of magnetite layering across strikes
- Strong correlation between geophysical anomalies and mineralization
- Open-ended layered Fe-Ti-V mineralization at depth
Next Steps with Geophysical Surveys
Encouraged by these results, SAGA has initiated further investigations with a detailed magnetic and electromagnetic (EM) survey in the Trapper Zone, located to the west of the Hawkeye zone. This follow-up aims to refine the magnetic inversion model, similar to that of the Hawkeye Zone, allowing for the identification of new drill targets along a previously mapped 20km oxide layer.
The survey employs a precise spacing of 25 meters between linear stations to ensure high-resolution magnetic and conductivity mapping, integral to effective mineralization identification. As SAGA continues with these advanced explorations, confidence in drilling potential in the Trapper Zone grows.
