Q2 Metals Unveils Promising Lithium Drilling Results at Cisco Project

Exciting Drill Results at the Cisco Lithium Project

Highlights

  • Drill hole CS25-044 identified three spodumene pegmatite intervals, featuring an impressive continuous segment of 457.4 metres, alongside an additional interval of 36.9 metres.
  • Drill hole CS25-038 reported 22 spodumene pegmatite occurrences, including a robust 58.9 metre wide section, plus additional 58.3 metre and 31.8 metre intervals.
  • Drill hole CS25-039 exhibited 13 spodumene pegmatite segments, highlighted by a 108.5 metre wide interval together with further intervals of 99.7 metres, 77.7 metres, and 71.0 metres.
  • Drill hole CS25-040 yielded 12 intervals of spodumene pegmatite, featuring a 95.1 metre segment, along with widths of 81.9 metres and 66.5 metres.
  • A cumulative total of 46 drill holes, amounting to 20,138 metres, have been drilled across the Cisco Project, with results from eight recent holes awaited.
  • Three drill rigs are actively engaged on the project, focusing on refining the understanding of the main mineralized zone as the team prepares for an initial inferred Mineral Resource estimate.

From the bustling environment of Vancouver, Canadian mineral exploration company Q2 Metals Corp. (TSX.V: QTWO | OTCQB: QUEXF | FSE: 458) has announced groundbreaking results from their latest drilling campaign at the Cisco Lithium Project. These encouraging findings come from the summer camp of 2025, where significant continuity and thickness of spodumene pegmatite were recorded.

During the summer drill campaign, which started in mid-June, a total of 4,603 metres were drilled over eight holes, all successfully revealing visual indicators of spodumene mineralization. The most remarkable discovery was observed in hole 44, which encountered an incredible 457-metre intercept, surpassing all expectations. With the mineralized zone extending deeper and along the strike, there is a genuine prospect for further expansion.

Neil McCallum, Q2 Metals' Vice President of Exploration, remarked, "The robust performance shown in Hole 44 showcases the mineralized zone's potential. Our exploration team is strategizing a comprehensive drilling approach for the upcoming fall and winter phases, with the aim to solidify our estimates for the inferred mineral resource."

Alicia Milne, President and CEO of Q2 Metals, emphasized how the results from this summer's drilling campaign are enhancing their understanding of the Cisco mineralized zone. She noted, "The consistency and scale of the spodumene-bearing pegmatite intercepted thus far strongly indicate robust long-term potential. With our solid financial standing, we are ready to proceed confidently with our drilling initiatives to extract the full value of Cisco."

Summary of Drilling Intervals

The detailed mineralized intervals from drill holes CS25-038 to CS25-045 illustrate the depth and breadth of spodumene occurrences:

  • Cautionary remarks stress that the pegmatite presence alone does not guarantee lithium mineralization; only assays confirm actual mineral content.

The Q2 geological team has already processed the core from holes CS25-038 to CS25-045, with samples dispatched to SGS Canada for rigorous mineral analysis aimed at verifying lithium presence.

Future Prospects of the Cisco Project

The Cisco Project spans an impressive mineralization zone of approximately 1.5 kilometres in a northeast-southwest direction. An exploration target, crafted in partnership with independent consultant BBA Inc, identified a potential range of mineralization between 215 to 329 million tonnes, with lithium grades estimated between 1.0 and 1.38% Li2O based on initial drilling results.

It's important to note that this exploration target relies on existing geological data and is purely conceptual. Although promising, it is not an official mineral resource, and ongoing exploration may or may not yield results aligning with expectations.

Q2 Metals is actively working to refine the geological models as new data comes in, striving to tighten drill spacing and assess additional areas with enhanced geophysical targeting.

Sampling and Quality Control Protocols

Q2 employs state-of-the-art diamond drilling methods utilizing NQ sized core. Substantial quality assurance protocols, including the consistent integration of blanks and certified reference materials, ensure accurate results and uphold industry standards.
