Outstanding Fleet Utilization Highlights Successful Operations
In September 2025, Prosafe SE achieved a remarkable 100% fleet utilization rate. This success reflects the efficient operations of Prosafe's vessels, marking an encouraging 86% utilization for the third quarter of 2025.
Optimized Operations Across the Board
Prosafe’s flagship, the Safe Boreas, is currently on standby but has played a crucial role in maintaining the operational consistency of the fleet. From 1 September 2025, all Prosafe vessels have been actively engaged, contributing to increased earnings and operational success.
High Performance in Brazil
In Brazil, three of Prosafe's vessels, including Safe Eurus, Safe Notos, and Safe Zephyrus, operated at full capacity. These vessels achieved an impressive average commercial uptime of 99% throughout September as well as for the entire quarter. This level of performance underscores Prosafe’s strong presence in the Brazilian market.
Consistent Capacity in the UK
The Safe Caledonia has also exhibited exemplary performance, maintaining a remarkable 100% commercial uptime at the Captain Field in the UK since its contract commencement in June. With options available for up to three months starting from December, the anticipation of continued engagement further bolsters Prosafe's operational outlook.
Strategic Preparations for Future Contracts
Looking ahead, Safe Boreas is strategically positioned in the Singapore region to prepare for a forthcoming firm contract in Australia, estimated to span 15 months. This contract will feature six months of options, with a startup window scheduled between 2 December and 15 December 2025, indicating significant growth potential for Prosafe.
Positive Market Outlook and Company Strategy
“At Prosafe, we are thrilled to have all our units operatively engaged, facilitating high gangway uptime alongside stringent safety protocols,” stated Reese McNeel, Interim CEO and CFO. “Our high-end units are engaged through 2027, with Safe Notos’ contract for Petrobras extending to 2030. The strong demand within the Brazilian market from both Petrobras and independent operators, along with projects off the coast of Africa, positions us favorably to enhance our backlog in upcoming quarters.”
Moreover, Prosafe remains focused on achieving operational efficiencies. The implementation of initiatives aimed at reducing operational costs and SG&A, along with organizational adjustments, is well underway. This strategic focus will enable the company to navigate ongoing challenges while setting the stage for future success.
