Q: "As for sampling the well to determine "viability" (whatever he means by that), I call BS on that." ~ posted by Git-A-New-Spiel
"Viability means exactly what the word means; is the well "Viable" for a full-blown commercial Gold Mining Operation OR not? And the answer is YES ... therefore, it is "Viable" because it has water at 400' depth and the well is +/-1,100 feet deep... that is what is meant by testing for its "Viability." Study up on the definition of viability please. And I call BS on you "Git-a-New-Spiel" -- That's all you are is BS. So, now you're a well-pro after reading up on water wells for ten minutes. Lol - You're unbelievable!
Q: Sampling a deep well like that is no easy matter . It would take a pump rig or drill rig to lower a pump into the well, or a bailer."
Actually, a well that deep can be tested VERY EASILY with 2000' of Masons Twine and a metal pipe tied to the end. The twine being marked at 25' intervals and spooled onto a regular pick-up truck winch.
"Git-a-New-Spiel" Ya just got to work Smarter not Harder , especially when developing an historic Gold Mining property.
We obviously have water on the site.... Next Question please!
