MVP REIT Acquires Fully-Leased Medical and Professional Office Building for $6.4 Million

LAS VEGAS, Sept. 23, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MVP REIT Inc. announced today the acquisition of a 22,000-square-foot medical and professional office building in Las Vegas, Nev. The $6.4 million acquisition is part of a five-property, $48.6 million portfolio being acquired by MVP REIT. The acquisition closed on September 16, 2013.

Located at 8925 W. Post Road, the two-story building is fully occupied by a mix of medical and professional tenants. All tenants are subject to a triple net lease, under which the tenant is responsible for the majority of the costs associated with maintaining the building. The lease terms range from 4 years to 9 years.

"The premium location and high-quality tenancy of this building make this property an attractive addition to our portfolio," explained Mike Shustek, chairman and CEO of MVP REIT. "In addition, this acquisition provides MVP REIT with a quality income-generating property in a region that is currently exhibiting economic growth."

MVP REIT financed the acquisition through the assumption of approximately $3.9 million in existing debt and the transfer of 280,095 shares of MVP REIT common stock to the seller at $8.775 per share.

About MVP REIT, Inc.

It is currently conducting a public offering of up to 55,555,556 shares of its common stock at $9.00 per share and up to an additional 5,555,556 shares of its common stock for issuance under its distribution reinvestment plan at $8.73 per share.
