Dr. Rolf Kahrs Hansen
Dr. Rolf Kahrs Hansen has been appointed as Director of Coda Octopus Group Inc., effective August 2, 2010. Dr. Rolf Kahrs Hansen has been the Chief Scientist at CodaOctopus Omnitech AS, the Company’s wholly owned subsidiary and has been with the company since its acquisition by Coda Octopus in 2002. He is also one of the two (2) inventors of the Company’s patented solution which it markets under its trademark Echoscope® and which covers a method of producing a 3D sonar image that permits real time, three dimensional visualization of submerged /underwater environment. During this time he has also been a consultant for EuroSleep AS, Norway, an entity that manages several hospital departments specialised on obstructive sleep apnea diagnosis and treatment, as well as a consultant for MRA AS, Norway and MRA-Medical Ltd. UK. MRA produce and sell the ApneaGraph system for diagnosis of sleep apnea. Prior thereto he was a Managing Director and the Chief Engineer at OmniTech, a company that was acquired by the Company in 2002. In that capacity he was intimately involved in the development of acoustical underwater 3D sonar systems and the development and production of battery powered data acquisition system. He also is very involved in the Company’s patent strategy. Dr. Hansen holds a doctoral degree from the University of Bergen and a M.Sc. from the University of Trondheim, Norwegian Institute of Technology: Department of Applied Physics.
More Recently
In May 2012, Dr. Rolf Kahrs Hansen resigned from the Board of Directors to exploit his Sleep Apnea Technology. Dr. Hansen remains the Company’s exclusive subsea expert under a consultancy agreement and continues to be involved in our new generation of 3D products.

Gary J.Rohrbaugh Jr., Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Rohrbaugh is responsible for executing Colmek’s expansion plans. He oversees the Program Management side of the Engineering Projects. Gary is responsible for sales strategy and business development, in securing new and key business accounts, and works directly with businesses to bring more operational depth. He also serves as the deputy to the Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Rohrbaugh has an extensive background in sales and operations. Gary recently sold his full service financial brokerage firm, a business he owned for 13 years. Gary earned a BA in Political Science and a Minor in Spanish from Brigham Young University and was selected to Pi Sigma Alpha and Sigma Delta Pi National Honor Societies. He also fenced on the BYU Fencing team, where he qualified for Nationals. Upon graduating, Gary served his nation in the United States Army throughout the U.S. and abroad as a Field Artillery Officer. Gary graduated in the Top 10% of the Army Field Artillery Officer Advance Course. He also was recognized as the Distinguished (Top) Graduate of Army Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Defense School. Gary earned his MBA from the University of Utah. Gary is married to his college sweetheart, the former Julie Marshall of Orem, Utah. They have 6 extraordinary children and he now resides in South Jordan, Utah.
Jason Martin, Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Martin manages engineering at Colmek and applies his extensive background in embedded systems, processor architectures, FPGA and CPLDs, Verilog and Xilinx tools. He is proficient in a variety of software packages including the GNU compiler and tools, Matlab/Simulink, Xilinx ISE, TI Code Composer, Solidworks, and Mathematica and routinely programs in C++, C and various assembly languages. Mr. Martin holds a BS in Computer Science from Utah State University and has several years of Electrical Engineering experience with the Center for Self Organizing and Intelligent Systems (CSOIS), developing software architectures for several classes of mobile robotic systems.
James Brown, VP Production
Mr. Brown has over 25 years experience in production and manufacturing and manages production and manufacturing teams at Colmek. As part of his responsibility he also manages subcontractors who are part of our material supply chain and manages our materials supply chain. Mr. Brown is dedicated to providing superior quality products and holds an Electronics Engineering Technology degree from Weber State University.

As Managing Director with CodaOctopus Martech (formerly Martech Systems), I am closely involved in customer-facing sales and marketing activities with a focus on business development, finding new opportunities for Martech's brand of high-end technology development. In addition, I undertake the day to day general management, and other plate spinning activities.
With a background in developing products for marine geophysical and subsea applications, I am closely involved in applying Martech's skills to new products for sister company Coda Octopus
