The thyristor of MS7 is a very big component of POET not just for the military side but for the commercial side as well. Not just a phased array for incoming and outgoing optical signalling or laser detection and missile countermeasures but a new generation of memory. Milestone 7 is the thyristor and is scheduled to be announced by the end of the month and is expected to generate a military deal.
Remember also of the new devices in the pipeline from the Aug 16 NR:
"The Poet platform is currently the basis for a number of key projects -- including optical code division multiple access (OCDMA) devices for avionics systems, combined RF-/optical-phased arrays, optoelectronic directional couplers and ultra-low-power random access memory (RAM)."
