Sounds like the contrarian here is simply a deficit fiscal hawk who doesnt see the backend growth resulting from a money multiplier when u deploy those funds and they move throughout the economy. Its easier to pay down debt whenu are growing rapidly, so firing up the economy with a real deal stimuus SHOULD be the course of action, unless conservative Chinese types have their way. Their last stimulus was a GOOD thing, they just wasted too much on the olympics hehehe.
