KD-CATHD250Lite - New HDMI Extender by Key Digital(R)

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y., Sept. 19, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Key Digital®, an award winning (CES, CEDIA, InfoComm, NAHB) manufacturer of leading-edge technology for HDTV applications, introduces FatCAT Series™ model KD-CATHD250Lite HDBT/HDMI Extender, the newest digital video distribution solution. This product is designed for residential applications where long CAT5e/UTP and CAT6/STP cable runs are impeding digital video signal transmission. As leaders in digital and analog video technology, Key Digital® produces a variety of HDMI extenders to provide solutions to installers for residential A/V systems.

The FatCAT Series™ KD-CATHD250Lite allow extension of 1080p/60, 1920x1200, 3D signals up to 200 ft. on CAT5e/UTP; 250 Ft on CAT6/STP with KD-CAT6STP1X cable. 4K signal extension is 120 ft. with all cabling. KD-CATHD250Lite carries IR and RS-232 for controlling remotely located equipment.

The FatCAT Series™ model KD-CATHD250Lite now offers support for HDBaseT Technology for the seamless switching and viewing of any source/input with any display/output, regardless of multiple output viewing relation. Key Digital®'s new extender also auto-adjusts feedback, equalization and amplification depending on the length of cabling utilized.
