Some sell when they see news regardless of reading it in pinks. These PR's has substance and speculation, just like when many speculated future events when the CEO radio interviews took place. I suspect a lot of the "day traders" left as the accumulation was not affected that much:

Looks like a lot of firm believers and smart investors have scooped up this dip with some chips.
