As the “CGI” Retail Stores nears completion, an appreciation event was held over the weekend for some of Beijing’s California Wine enthusiasts! With over 50 guests having the opportunity to come in and get a “first glimpse” of the largest selection of California Wine available in China, the enthusiasm and feedback was fantastic and makes all of the hurdles faced over the past few months that much more rewarding. With only some minor details to be completed before the “Gran Opening”, we took the opportunity to work through some of the operational challenges that the store staff will be faced with under regular business conditions. Everything went as planned and the word of mouth exposure we received from the event has already prompted a swell of email and phone communications.
As you can see, the staff has their work cut our for them in understanding the dynamics of the California Wine Industry! We always like to ask, “How many wineries can you name or even recommend?”
This is when the fun begins! As the windows remain covered on the mall side (indoor) entrance, people have no idea what is about to become available.
The front door (just to the right in this picture below) opens to the outdoor mall and will provide for good weather wine enjoyment at the cafe tables that will be just outside.
The people enjoying their time and the wine being brought to Beijing by “California Grapes International, Inc”! This is what we are all in this for!
