That is how I interpret Leo's explanation. My view is that the POC was planned to also provide support for the market price of the shares in the event the K P1 trial results were shy of efficacy. Since K is effectively much better than could be expected there is no longer any need for a "safety net".
With K doing so well, I think Leo sees more better options for CTIX when the time comes for the really big financing decisions.
Given Leo's past performance, I would not be at all surprised if he hasn't already had some discussions. Recall that before K even hit cohort 3 we had 3 additional P1 trials lined up and Leo suggested there would be many more to come.
