I hear ya in that they are good paying jobs for sure, but its all relative. I just read a huge mine is going almost totally robotic, so esentially a situation is being created in which these companies are just vacuuming the sovereign wealth of these countries up for less and less benefit to the middle of the road worker. Thays why I am so about making sure we do our part, before the properly organized group realizes that those resources can only be mined out of the ground once, and there should be a fuctioning, growing, sustainable infrastructure in place that developed while the mine was rockin.

And no doubt this will happen on some level, and this royalty makes it a certainty moreso. But the port will no doubt get much bigger, plus who knows about the strictly ore floating port that also seems like a good idea. Some of those monies could be used for expanding agriculture in baja as well....just about anything really. Much like our company, the area just needs a stronger footing...and iron ore revenues can dramatically speed that up....im still astounded that we can make millions of dollars off of each ship. There just arent many businesses, if any, that can ramp up that fast. Fortescue basically did what I would have if given the opportunity.
