I can't understand why they don't feed off the TPS line to regulate the unit. Load is directly linked to the TPS. Maybe a patent or warranty thing? Measure anywhere on the throttle from the pedal to the engine should give you the variable in amperage that would improve mileage to a degree. Set the optimal amps for idle as a zero point and normal flat road @ 65mph as a second point. Then let it float relative to the second point. I would assume there is a maximum amount of H+ that should be given under maximum load. That would be the end point on maximum amperage. I'm no electronics guru but seems like a box should be able to beconstructed to do just that. An Ipad app would be all it takes, so just a software thing.
