I thought the Sahara was like 8 times the current supply of energy needed. All we need is the investment and it can be done. big Oil needs to stop getting billions in subsidies when they make tens of billions a year. That needs to be going toward automatic investments that can provide good paying sustainable jobs but actually lower costs because the government projects would technically be pumping energy into the grid. A Multifaceted low hanging fruit no brainer among many that cant get OKd, even as our "scary deficits" are falling at record rates. Im just glad the Fed hasnt been politicized into oblivion, because they have been the only way the government has been able to do anything progrowth in years. It sucks that only the wealthiest are benefitting from it, as 98percent of the gains since the recession have gone to the top few percent. At some point enough has gotta be enough and "trickle down" will get turned into a steady stream. Still no signs of it yet though, still me me me as the corporate boards concentrate on buybacks and increasing dividends, and Big Oil shifts to natural gas and poisoning our water supply.....im all for job creation but at what cost? The cheapest cost possible it seems. After all, when you have near monopolies on everything and you dont like the guy in charge, why actually invest these record profits and give back to Main Street. Nah, lets repeal Obamacare 40times Even as the cost curve has already slowed dramatically.
