Products:
IBA’s proprietary chemical process sequester toxins in coal fly ash, rendering them incapable of leaching toxins into the environment. The company is in the process of licensing its state of the art technology process to electric utility companies, landfills, and waste to energy plants both nationwide and internationally.
Market Potential:
Incinerator Bottom Ash (IBA) is the residue from burning coal or solid waste in order to generate electric power. The 600 coal burning and 86 waste-to-energy electric power plants across the USA create 150 million tons of coal ash and IBA annually. The 150 million tons of toxic ash residue, created in the process of power generation continuously pollutes our nations aquifers. Coal ash and IBA contain environmental toxins including heavy metals, arsenic, barium, cadmium, lead and mercury. Dumping the ash into our landfills or stockpiling and impounding the ash leads to toxic leakage into our nations water supply.
