DISCLAIMER: All of this is speculation... Last nig
Post# of 45510
Last night I was wondering about what the heck has been going on here. Given that we have no answers, I thought about it and came up with my own. Please let me know if you care to speculate - if I am wrong, right, half-right etc.
1. Gayle Dickie is not affiliated with the company. No brainer. The question is what happened?
a. There was something in her past that made her unfit to serve.
b. She upset Steve and got fired.
c. She saw the writing on the wall and left of her own accord.
I am betting there is a non-disclosure agreement in place that prevents Steve from discussing the details.
2. There is no longer any deal with Clear Channel. The promo real from Clear Channel displays the logo for Punch TV. We are not Punch anymore, so the deal was rescinded. CC may still display the promo reals with Punch content included, but they are such a small piece that it isn't worth editing the existing promo to remove references to Punch.
3. Probably no officers of the company. Perhaps for the same reasons Gayle is no longer part of the company with the same non-disclosure agreements.
4. Doubtful that any of the content listed in recent PRs will see the light of day on VU. The PR for FilmOn states that VU will be broadcast 24/7 in a PARTED DAY format. To me this says that what little content VU has will be displayed over and over throughout the day. 24/7 Hollywood Fastlane anyone?
5. As to the recent dumping of the stock.
a. Disgruntled share holders are leaving.
b. Shorters are selling.
c. Larges piece of the pie? Think of all the employees/officers/others who were paid in stock who now are able to sell under the provisions of the agreements with which they were paid. Those agreements and restrictions to sell don't last forever. They see the writing on the wall and are dumping their shares in order to get some amount of payment for their work.
Again - this is all just speculation on my part. I have no information from any source other than my own imagination. I hope I am wrong and that Steve is able to pull this off for the benefit of us all.
But given the events of the last several years, I think it is reasonable to assume that not answering questions is directly related to the negative content of those answers. If it was good news, there would be answers or at least comment as to why the questions can't be answered at this time.
Normally, I would hold off sharing my opinions for fear of the negative impact on share price. Not too many of us left, and I question how many people left reading this board.
Good luck to us all - here's hoping I am wrong on all counts!
