"Slight effect" means they measured increase. This is very fine quantitative procedure, not just hint of graph line rising. They had numbers and baseline differed from treatment measurements. Formulaic. Incontrovertible. But until larger data pool exists - ctix has to be low key about it. We don't!
Yes indeed, QPCR tests are very sensitive. P21 activation was measurable at very low doses (20-30mg). And "quantification" is the name of the game in medical trials. Its an objective measure, contrasted by Leo's comment about patients reporting that they "felt better" on K. (a subjective or "qualitative" measure).
Management did the responsible thing by downplaying P21 glimmers, (in spite of what day traders might think...lol)
"K" could become mind blowing in the next few weeks if lab reports keep coming in with positive increases.
