BTW, linking or referencing a wordpress robotic website, is not considered to be an academic resource (No college would allow me to cite or use that article as a source) so I wouldn't consider it to be DD at all or even have relevance. On that note, you are correct on the copyright law BUT buying and selling domain names have been around since the birth of the INTERNET. I think they call them "Turn key websites". They look for new upcoming projects, old domains that are about to expire, and they buy them up to resell.
The fact that you let your own namesake site go down really bothers me Steve, as an investor, it is one thing for the PPS to be dropping the way it is and you claim to not understand why but now you are letting everyone in the professional world know that you can not even control your own personal finances and life. The only way a domain expires is if you don't have money in the account the domain is set up to auto pay from or you neglected it and let it expire. He isn't ransoming your name, he is selling you a website YOU neglected or didn't have money to pay for. Just because you owned a domain for years doesn't make it yours.
I am so sick of excuses and the blame game. If it was a mistake on your account your hosting company would rectify the problem because that has happened to me.
Do you realize that some of us are not SHEEP?
If you take anything from this post, take these; Try buying and setting things up before telling people about your plans, Stop giving these people things to post about you, and PLEASE stop lying to people. If you don't know something or are unsure about it, then don't say anything at all because you fuel their FIRE. Yes, I know you don't lie,You do however bend the truth.
We are not all basement dwellers, we are actual people, and some of us are educated.
I think it is disgusting that somebody still has the nerves to come on here and post to distract investors from the PPS.
Here is an example of an actual source.

Any article taken from here would have been scholarly accepted and considered actual DD.
P.S; No I am not the one that owns the website and this was not a bash at Steve or the Company. Tired of BS and the BS seems to be runny.
Also, since you like to compare us to bigger companies due to our rather large O/S and A/S, I am pretty sure non of those companies CEO's would have lost their namesake sites and if they did they would have paid the $1500 and kept it quite.
