Sheriff Urquhart is the chief law enforcement official for the 1.9 million people in King County. It's one of the largest sheriff's office in the country. Over a thousand employees and a $160 million budget. Urquhart was elected sheriff of King County, Washington State's largest county, in November 2012 with 56% of the vote. Term of office four years. Then he can choose to run again. Urquhart is first candidate to have won election over an incumbent King County sheriff.
