So quantitative just means measure in numbers - in this case all the way out to really, really small ones, like 1.02314....Hard to argue with such fine measurement. People can argue with a qualitative result - such as the patients saying "I feel better". Concrete numbers are tougher to discredit though. Especially in this situation. The only numeric comparisons with the p21 measures are the patients own baseline measure and post treatment measure. The numbers simply are what they are. The increase exists.
