OK so let's approach this puppy from both sides of the coin with good ideas for each. Let's say your of the camp which wants to buy and hold. Instead of plopping down 5 grand why not put an honest bid out there for 100 shares at $25.00. 100 because it will show and $25.00 because it will not take the last price down. If someone sees your bid they may just decide to go for it. They have not gone for the $15.00 bids but just maybe. You would still be buying shares for 12 1/2 cents pre split. A price that was great years ago and is unbelievable now.
Let's say you reside in the other camp. Let's say you put a bid out there for 100 at $24.00. 100 make it show and $24.00 takes the last down. If you get the shares you could sell them later to take the last price down again.
It's simple gang. It does not matter. There is nothing, and I mean nothing, that anyone can do to change what will happen here. The company comes up with an announcement and people run to buy and then big bucks jump into the game and last but not least those who may find they need a few jump in to pay a fortune for shares.
