WAYNE, Pa., Sept. 5, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- AssetWorks, a leading provider of fleet management software, automated fuel management systems and motor pool and car sharing management systems , announced today it has signed a contract with the National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA) to continue offering its fleet management software and hardware solutions to their members.
The NJPA offers nationally-leveraged contract purchasing solutions to over 50,000 members. The goal of NJPA is to help its member agencies work more efficiently as they do business together by establishing a business and service alliance between said member buyers and awarded contracted suppliers. NJPA membership is available to any unit of government, education (private or public) or non-profit agencies nationwide.
AssetWorks has partnered with NJPA since 2009 to offer its comprehensive portfolio of asset management products to member organizations. Among the products offered since the original partnership are AssetWorks fleet management software, automated fuel management systems, motor pool management and GPS solutions. Additionally, AssetWorks is offering two new products beginning in 2013:
- Field Service Solution (FSS) – A complete AVL/GPS, field ticketing, driver behavior and mobile workforce management solution that improves the efficiency of fleet-based business.
- Capital Asset Management (CAM) – A comprehensive asset life-cycle-based management system, designed to help asset managers find ways to minimize capital expenditures and operating expenses by maximizing the useful life of an asset. CAM also provides tools to support the fundamental asset management tasks of procurement and remarketing.
