Below is exactly what TECO posted in 8/16 newslett
Post# of 39368
"The Company is continuing with on-going completion activities in Belize. The Company will state the results of these completion efforts by the end of the month, with the support of the Government of Belize. The August 31st deadline was voluntarily established by the Company two weeks ago. All information relating to the current status of the well is considered unconfirmed and only rumored as the Government of Belize has not had the opportunity to evaluate the well data."
Below is the statement TECO issued in the 8/23 newsletter. This statement moved the original statement out until the first week of September. IMO the statements will either stop or the Belize announcement extensions will be ongoing. I hope I'm wrong but TECO's M.O. and history shows otherwise.
"Treaty Belize Energy, Ltd. is meeting with officials in Belize this week to discuss the status of San Juan #3. The company is still expected to announce something by early next week on San Juan #3, but that announcement is contingent upon the results of the meeting. Until then, the Company would like to restate that an official status on the commercial validity of SJ#3 has not been announced by either party."
