Study: Saltwater boating brings billions to region

BOSTON (AP) — Recreational saltwater boating contributed $3.5 billion to the Northeast's economy last year and supported the equivalent of 27,000 jobs. That's according to a new study on the reach of a historical but underanalyzed industry. ( full story )
