Consulting Experience
· The Solution Manager role is a sales support role in the Multiscreen TV offering as part of the TV & Media domain.
· Focus for this assignment is primarily RNAM (North America) region but the role will also give support to RLAM (South America) region, working closely with the Offering & Capability lead for Multiscreen TV.
· The Solution Manager shall be the natural point of contact for customer engagements in the focus region when it comes to Multiscreen TV specific material supporting the CSI business. A key task is therefore to always be on the lookout for assets that can be re-used (as-is or refined) as “good practices” for other projects.
The main purpose to provide this material is to:
1. Increase sales
2. Reduce risk
3. Lower project delivery cost
· Experienced in working on large multi-million dollar projects consisting of consulting and system integration personnel
· History of working on consulting engagements, with a Tier 1 types, or a related company profile or with substantial operational history of Systems integration, supported by 3+ years of consulting experience
· Engage and create affinity with the customer, at senior / C level, through demonstration of subject matter knowledge and excellent communication
· Providing subject matter expertise from an operational business, process and technical work stream leadership perspective
· Candidate should have deep business, process, IT, and network knowledge with the following attributes and skills:
o Ability to learn different technologies quickly and adapt consulting projects to meet client needs
o Experience in systems integration, testing and software lifecycle processes in both small and large team environments
o Ability to lead a program, project or management tasks as needed to resolve issues and meet deadlines
o Ability to define new work or add-on work and drive sales into client environments
o Ability to develop and maintain and cultivate client relationships
o Ability to motivate team and maintain morale and a positive work environment
Role Expectations
· Provide funnel input from RNAM and RLAM region on key Multiscreen TV engagement
· Support Core3 in production of scoping material and other relevant SI documents to clearly defined the business opportunities on the key Multiscreen TV projects
· Regular participation and contribution to relevant knowledge sharing communities
· Contribute to the yearly CSI seminar
· Contribute to Monthly update of the funnel for Multiscreen TV and input to the CSI TV & Media Top 10 sales funnel (around 15th each moth)
· Contribute to Monthly business report document (around 22nd each month)
· Bi-weekly phone meetings (approx. 60 minutes foreseen) with TV & Media team to discuss status and priorities
· Engage with client to propose Systems Integration programs, showing business benefit
· Identify needs and build solutions
· Define team and recruit appropriate skill sets for the team
· Build pricing model and work on meeting margin and cost thresholds
· Play different technical, project management and business roles as needed to ensure success of the project
· Build teams and train team members to help them grow as managers and consultants
· Define new solution sets and offers that we can take to different clients
· Easily blend in different technology, technical and business considerations into senior level business oriented discussions
The candidate should have a good understanding of telecom operational processes, software and deployment experience as well as the revenue-generating aspects of end to end telecom processes. Candidate should also be able to translate the customer's business, functional and operational processes requirements into business and system solutions.
