Verizon Wireless ranked highest among all other national wireless providers in the West Region, which includes Nevada, and in the five other regions covering the rest of the continental U.S., in the J.D. Power 2013 Wireless Network Quality Performance Study SM , Volume 2 , issued Aug. 29. This is the 11th consecutive reporting period that Verizon Wireless ranks highest in the West Region.

The J.D. Power study measured network quality among U.S. wireless service providers. More than 26,000 wireless subscribers were surveyed by J.D. Power from January through June 2013 about their experiences with wireless voice, text messaging and data usage. Based on their responses, Verizon Wireless ranked highest among national wireless companies in all six regions, including the West, and tied in the North Central region.

The Verizon 4G LTE network is now available to nearly 301 million people in more than 500 markets across the United States, representing more than 99 percent of the company's 3G footprint.

In 2012, Verizon Wireless completed $80 million in wireless network enhancements across Nevada, increasing the company's regional network investment to $750 million since its inception in 2000.
|
|
|
Since December 2010, when Verizon Wireless launched its 4G LTE network in Nevada, the company has aggressively expanded its 4G LTE footprint throughout the state.

|
|
Verizon Wireless ' roll out of its 4G LTE (Long Term Evolution) network across Nevada is now substantially complete.
|
|
|
