One can interpret commercialisation in several ways. If you look at it from a finished product, then yes MS10 is needed, but the commercialisation plan is already unfolding. Some appliances can already be made based on the POET Platform, like IR Sensors. In fact BAE Systems is already in such process and the announcement of MS7 might have a contract attached to it. Not sure if it will happen on the same day, or a week later, or months later, that I don't know, but a substantial amount of shareholders I know think this might be the case. Needless to say when one of the world largest military contractors, which BAE Systems is, announces a contract of some sorts that the stock will respond quite explosive to that, depending on the size of such contract of course. The company is also in the process of establishing PDA's Process Development Alliances. This means they're seeking partners to develop other applications based on the revolutionary POET Platform, and these will also be big names in the industry. Could be anyone! Apple, Intel, IBM or other lower ranked companies, but still big names, who sit on piles of cash. And given the fact that POET has everything to cause a paradigm shift you can bet your bottom dollar that the behemoths of the industry will be very keen to close a deal with POET Technologies, even leading to a complete buyout of the company! So commercialisation comes in many shapes and forms. Individual products, licenses and contracts, Joint Ventures, PDA's, or a buyout. All options are under consideration right now and it will depend which route they choose... Even now, a full completion of all milestones is not needed to be a candidate for a buyout. Its like with a pharmaceutical company who has a strong pipeline of promising products, they too often get bought out, at very attractive valuations because their potential is so strong. This could happen with POET too... Stay tuned
