Fortescue- believe its the 4th largest iron producer, has certainly made bold gambles to increase production lately, but they may have withdrawn from 1 project w a 106 marginal cost, and they screamed about the 30% export tax instituted by Australia May 2012,and China withdrew from some Australian projects as a result.

The puppetmaster is going to have to get really creative to block sales much longer- govt permit and port and election games are over-every dept of the Mex and USA govts- govts are always puppets-except historically for 2 govt's, were used to stop shipping.

All those situations are resolved, but as soon as CWRN wins its suit against the govt over the port ore (due to Mex govt permit games and prematurely cancelling 2011 permits just before shipping etc) we get new management, who has to learn the nail biting art of negotiating w the Chinese, who as bingo has posted here are never easy to negotiate with. The new, as of 2011 or so, spot pricing system is suppose to help, since spot is actual latest market contract prices-but I'm sure the Chinese find a way to make negotiating difficult anyway-and steel margins are only 3%?
