Nice post, that will be a very useful standard to utilize, provided you have clean Telephone cables through out your home. Still a lot cheaper to re-wire your home with CAT 4 or 5 telephone cable vice fiber. Problem being thought is that data only travels as fast as its slowest medium. Therefor if this standard only provides 1G throughout the home, then when the major networks start providing 10G to homes - these homes would not be able to support the newest speeds, they will be stuck in 1G land. Still 1G is not bad, but as technologies grow, it might not be fast enough in the far end future. IMHO
