" It’s not hard to see why renewable energy and crowdfunding are happy bed-fellows.

On one side, renewable projects can offer financial returns which are long-term , inflation-linked and relatively low-risk, in part due to Government backed mechanisms such as the feed-in-tariff.

And on the other, crowdfunding resonates with a number of current social and political drivers. These include ordinary people demanding the chance to invest their money in something profitable  and worthwhile; the Government’s desire to get more of us financially involved in energy projects; and the fundamental challenge our nation faces in raising huge amounts of capital to upgrade our energy infrastructure over the next decade. "

So, in a nutshell, what is crowdfunding ?  

" In essence, crowdfunding is where businesses and projects are directly funded by large numbers of people putting in relatively small amounts of money. It has been called ‘ democratic finance ’ because it lets people choose exactly where their money goes. "

If the UK Minister for Energy and Climate Change is ambitious enough to use the UK model to HELP DELIVER HIS AMBITION for a far more decentralized energy system which in itself proves eagerness to push renewable green energy forward, how much more should we investors be ambitious enough and take financial advantage of green energy companies that deliver the same results and products in the field of wind and solar driven power, economically beneficial lighting systems, etc ?

BLDW is a publicly traded private green energy company that knows no 'crowdfunding' but only private investments that are made daily by people who have a great eye for company fundamentals and recognize the great potential renewable green energy companies hold in the market place..

So, what is the bottom line here ? If a great number of investors placed their capital directly into green energy companies, we could establish an analogous 'crowdfunding' that works in favor of all investors if done in large numbers.  We would get direct profitable investment results.
