$2,374,000 anyone? New release books from Hannover House will be featured to consumers in a wide variety of trade and consumer publications this fall... including PUBLISHER'S WEEKLY, LIBRARY JOURNAL, FOREWORD MAGAZINE and the NEW YORK TIMES BOOK REVIEW. Source: HHSE Blogspot.
Library Journal has over 100,000 subscribers that represents primary librarians (read: buyers of books for the libraries). According to the American Library Association there are about 119,000 libraries. So some quick speculative math: 1 book per library, at 119,000 libraries, at the normal SRP for a new book of $19.95 equates to roughly $2,374,000 in gross sales. And even half of that is over $1 million in gross sales. And the title, "One of the Lucky Ones" is already starting to sell out before it is even released to the journals mentioned above.
