However, I will say that my take on the full blog is somewhat different than most posted yesterday. In my opinion, the investment opportunity is another concession (they hinted at this in a previous news release). And, we have heard nothing about North Cal from Hollund or from North Cal. Now, even the on-site mills are not being supplied by North Cal. Yet, this was stated in press releases. So I am not so certain North Cal will be doing anything more than placing orders, distribution, and marketing. Don't get me wrong though, these functions are huge. But a merger?
Think about it, the underwater logging business is just the first industry Hollund intends to pursue. So why not think about spin-offs? And with each spin-off, investors could receive a dividend of shares in the new enterprise. We just don't know until Hollund reveals their plan.
