to our knowledge CWRN is the only iron mine to have shipped from Baha- the startup mine west of CWRN couldnt figure it out-no sign of production to my knowledge and folded- CWRN may have acquired part of that property-
CWRN is surrounded on 2 of the other sides by Navial (which a poster here superimposed as Kiliwa on the google map)
CWRN took over an existing producing concession run by Cemex which already had 68 drill holes etc -though CWRN didnt acquire that info imo until May 2011- and ca 20 would be iron etc startups asked Bob for advice because no other iron co has shipped yet from baha- at least 6 of 7 mining startups fail due to lack of money etc- usually years of prospecting, trenching,surveys, drilling etc before production
Bob et al spent years searching scores of possible concessions on several continents before choosing Baja 14 due to known high quality, low sulphur ore, 68 drill holes etc-short distance to port, low cost jurisdiction etc-chosen very carefully
