According to a survey released Wednesday, July 31, 2013 by NBC news, 30 percent of Iraq and Afghanistan veterans have contemplated suicide. The same report noted that the Veterans Administration is promoting a veteran crisis hotline that has responded to a consistently increasing number of calls. The survey raised concerns by revealing that only 37 percent of the ex-service members polled said they would call the VA's veteran crisis line -- 800-273-TALK (8255) -- if they were feeling suicidal. Rally Point Arizona is a mobile application that allows Arizona's veteran community to access services and behavioral healthcare resources directly.
