RALEIGH, N.C., July 30, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Stock Building Supply Holdings, Inc. ("Stock Building Supply") announced today that it has commenced an underwritten initial public offering of 8,823,530 shares of its common stock pursuant to a registration statement on Form S-1 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the "Commission"). Stock Building Supply is offering 4,411,765 shares and certain selling stockholders are offering 4,411,765 shares. It is expected that the underwriters will have a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1,323,530 shares of common stock from the selling stockholders. Stock Building Supply will not receive any proceeds from the offering of shares by the selling stockholders. The estimated price range for the initial public offering is $16.00 to $18.00 per share. Stock Building Supply has been approved to list its common stock on the The Nasdaq Global Select Market under the symbol "STCK."
