Iridium Expands Coverage for OEMS With CalAmp MCLE

MCLEAN, Va., July 29, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Iridium Communications Inc. (Nasdaq: IRDM ) announced today a multi-year partner agreement with CalAmp, a leading provider of wireless products, services and solutions to provide original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) with reliable, high performance, compact devices facilitating a wide range of satellite machine-to-machine (M2M) services, data rates and real-time, global communications solutions. Iridium will begin to offer its services leveraging CalAmp's Vanguard mobile wireless broadband routers and LMU-4520 rugged fleet management devices utilizing the Iridium Core 9523 transceiver and Iridium 9602 modem.
