Yes, I agree with this and see the futility of it all. And I normally do not engage...but sometimes I just gotta! However, I do think engaged or not, they will not leave. All it takes are more unsuspecting posters responding thinking that they will get a decent reply only to find they too will end up looking for another board to have decent discussions. Then the cycle repeats.
But on a brighter note, we have this place and it's a pretty good one! GO ICPA!
