Medical Marijuana Experts Host Las Vegas Education

The National Cannabis Industry Association (NCIA) will host the Southwest CannaBusiness Symposium on July 27 in Las Vegas. Following the passage of Senate Bill 374, stakeholders in Nevada's future medical marijuana marketplace and others engaged in medical marijuana business in the southwest will gather for this trade association symposium.
The day-long educational program will present investors and entrepreneurs interested in Nevada's emerging medical cannabis market, as well as the medical cannabis industries in Arizona and California, with a unique opportunity to glean information from cannabis business professionals and experts in the fields of regulatory models, operations and support services. The event will feature individual and panel presentations, question and answer periods, and an evening networking reception.
Nevada State Senator Tick Segerblom, the bill's sponsor and a speaker at Saturday's event, celebrated the passage of the bill by noting "It is fantastic that medical marijuana patients will finally be able to lawfully obtain the marijuana – promised them 13 years ago – they need to treat serious conditions. And while we're at it, this legislation is creating jobs and tax revenue for Nevada."
