your post is music to my ears. It never occurred to me that other indications might be covered in the patent.
My 35 year old son-in-law has RA, ankylosing spondylitis and (most serious) myelofibrosis, another autoimune. I hope for some new approach for the myelofibrosis before it progresses to the point he needs a bone marrow transplant. Fatal results from the transplant run 5 to 15%.
If any of his conditions are mentioned in the patent, I'll forward it to my daughter for mention to his docs. For the RA and ankylosing spondylitis, he sees docs at Columbia Presbyterian where he was first diagnosed. For the myelofibrosis, he sees a bone marrow transplant specialist at Dana Farber.
