DDD expands patent license with Samsung LOS ANGELE

LOS ANGELES, July 25, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- DDD Group plc (AIM: DDD; OTCQX: DDDGY), the 3D solutions company, has expanded its patent license agreement with Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. ("Samsung") to allow Samsung to perform 2D to 3D video conversion for content that can be presented on 3D cinema screens.

The patent license agreement allows Samsung to perform the conversion for both 3D cinema and 3D consumer devices using the comprehensive claims contained in the international patents covering 2D to 3D conversion that are owned by DDD.
