Delisting of Sanitas AB shares from Baltic Main li

Vilnius, Lithuania, 2013-07-25 07:37 CEST (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- NASDAQ OMX Vilnius decided to satisfy the application of Sanitas AB and to delist its shares (ticker SAN1L, ISIN code LT0000106171) from Baltic Main list. The last listing day of Sanitas AB shares is July 31, 2013.

The sole shareholder Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, Inc. of Sanitas AB resolved on applying for delisting on July 23, 2013. 

Mandatory takeover bid on Sanitas AB shares was launched on September 2, 2011 and it closed on September 15, 2011. As a result of mandatory takeover bid Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, Inc. owned 98.35% (i.e. more than 95%) of Sanitas AB shares.

Following coming into force of the decision of the Vilnius City Local Court, dated June 6, 2013 in the civil case No. 2-4148-910/2013 on July 8, 2013 and based on it making of entries in the Company’s shareholders personal securities accounts by Finasta AB FMI,  the squeeze-out of Company’s shares was finalized and Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, Inc. became a sole shareholder of the Company on July 16, 2013.
