Symbility Solutions Signs Contract With Major German Insurer

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - July 24, 2013) - Symbility Solutions Inc.® (TSX VENTURE:SY)(OTCQX:ATBEF), provider of cloud-based and smartphone/tablet-enabled claims technology, is pleased to announce that, in response to an increasing demand for Symbility's products in Europe, one of the top five German property and casualty insurers signed a multi-year contract to integrate Symbility's claims management software into its organization.

Through Symbility's European partner, The Innovation Group plc. (LSE:TIG.L), and upon a successful completion of a three-month pilot project, the Insurer deployed the Symbility platform throughout their extensive networks across Germany. The platform includes the use of Symbility's Claims Connect ® , an innovative and robust property and casualty claims workflow management software that will streamline the claims estimating process by reducing cycle time and increasing accuracy in all aspects of the claims handling process and, the use of Symbility Mobile Claims ® , the industry's most intuitive smartphone and tablet-enabled field estimating solution in enhancing adjuster and third-party contractor productivity.

Some of the reasons given for the selection of Symbility Solutions include:

  • Transition from an antiquated manual claim management process to electronic claim submission using Symbility's cloud-based system.
  • The company's supply chain will be able to quickly and effortlessly generate accurate claims, resulting in significant efficiency and productivity gains.

Symbility Solutions is also pleased to announce the appointment of Patrick C.W. Hansen as the Vice President of Sales in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region. Mr. Hansen, who played an integral role in acquiring Symbility's new German client, will focus on revenue growth and market expansion in EMEA for the full range of Symbility's products. Additionally, Mr. Hansen will spearhead the marketing efforts to further strengthen Symbility's overall market position and recognition across the region.

"Symbility Solutions is rapidly gaining traction in the European property and casualty market and I am very excited to work with a major German insurer as they transition their manual claim management operations to our cloud-based system," commented Richard Adair, President and COO, Symbility Solutions. "Patrick Hansen was instrumental in securing this important account and I am confident that his experience in enterprise software will be valuable in helping us meet the increasing demand in providing claims estimating solutions for the insurance industry across EMEA."
