NovaGold Resources Inc. (USA) (NYSEMKT:NG) jumped 15.57% on Tuesday after gold marked a one-month high on technical buying due to weakness in the U.S. dollar.

Organovo Holdings Inc (NYSEMKT:ONVO) spiked 13%. The stock has been rallying after marking an important milestone of getting approved to list its shares on the New York Stock Exchange.

MGIC Investment Corp. (NYSE:MTG) soared 10.19% to new high after returning to profit as housing recovers.

Nordic American Tanker Ltd (NYSE:NAT) climbed 8.82% after Jim Cramer ranked this stock a Buy on Tuesday.

Himax Technologies, Inc. (ADR) (NASDAQ:HIMX) advanced 7.86%, extending rally after disclosing that it entered into an agreement with Google Inc. pursuant to which Google has agreed to acquire 6.3% stake  in the Company’s subsidiary, Himax Display Inc. (“HDI”).

On the flip side, Pinnacle Entertainment, Inc (NYSE NK) fell along with peers like Boyd Gaming Corporation (NYSE:BYD) as Penn National Gaming tumbled on a second-quarter loss amid softness in regional gaming trends, bad weather in the Midwest and competitive pressures. PENN also reduced its outlook for the year, pointing to trends in the first two quarters and a lack of visibility.

Despite hitting new high, Trius Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:TSRX) fell 5.67% on profit taking. The stock has been showing an uptrend after it provided a corporate presentation at the JMP Securities Healthcare Conference at the St. Regis Hotel in New York.

Rambus Inc. (NASDAQ:RMBS) scored fresh record high as the company posted better-than-expected quarterly results but failed to extend rally and ended 5.25% lower on Tuesday.

Werner Enterprises, Inc. (NASDAQ:WERN) lost 5.04% as its Q1 results missed Wall Street’s expectations.

Polycom Inc (NASDAQ LCM) was under pressure after quarterly results and departure of CEO after expense irregularities.
