This is the process of IET Thermal Waste Gasificat
Post# of 1507
• The waste can be dumped directly into the primary cell. This does not have to be fully loaded in order to begin the process.
•Once loaded the cell is closed and heat is added. This heat is produced with a supplementary fuel.
•The gasification process takes about 12 to 14 hours.
•The cell is cooled and in four hours it is ready for another cycle (the ash does not need to be removed at this point).
•The gas produced by the cycle is a high BTU mixture of carbon monoxide and volatile organic compounds.
•This gas is mixed with air in order to increase its oxygen content and make it combustible.
•The gas is ignited in the secondary burner. This combustion process reaches between 1,600 to 2,000 ?F which totally eliminates the CO and the volatile organic compounds.
•The resultant secondary hot air is ventilated through a heat recuperating boiler in order to produce vapor, which is then used to move vapor turbines and generate electricity.
